Valentine's Day

This is a bit late, but happy Valentine's Day! :)
I went out with my S.O. on saturday, as a combined celebration for our 4-year anniversary and Valentine's. We ate at a chinese restaurant near where we live, and later hung out at my brother's. It was a lovely day.

I wore the airy full-length dress I bought from H&M a while ago. The cardigan is from Gina Tricot.

I had on a simple pastel purple make-up look. I put on Maybelline New York Eyestudio eyeshadow, in colour 20 Magic Mauve. Then I highlighted with a darker shimmery purple. I also put a purple liquid eyeliner on the upper lashline. On the lips I had Elf Plumping Lip Glaze in Oasis.

Dark purple ear studs are from Bijou Brigitte.

Thursday was fun

Torstaina käytiin taas kaupungilla Wilmandra-senpain kanssa. Vaikka me kierreltiin alennusmyynneissä iltamyöhään asti, en ostanut oikeastaan paljon mitään... Gina Tricotista sentään löysin korvakoruja ja hiusrusetteja -70% hintaan, sekä halvan ruutukaulahuivin. Löysin myös ihanan olkalaukun, mutta en kehdannut ostaa sitä, sillä en oikeastaan tarvitse uutta laukkua...vaikka kyllä se oli upea. x)
Muuten olen ollut aika laiska viime päivät, en jaksa panostaa ulkonäkööni ja siksi ei ole tännekään oikein päivitettävää. Osittain voimattomuuteni johtuu siitä, että olen sairastellut paljon. Poskiontelontulehdus, joka minulla oli viikkoja sitten, on jättänyt jälkeensä turvonneet limakalvot, ja sen takia minulla on vieläkin kauhean tummat silmänaluset.
Odottelen että netistä tilaamani meikit tulisivat perille...olen innoissani. :D

Last thursday I went shopping with Wilmandra-senpai again. Even though we were browsing the sales till late in the evening, I didn't really buy much... I did find some ear studs and hair bows at -70% price in Gina Tricot, as well as a cheap plaid scarf. I also found an adorable shoulder bag, but I didn't buy it, since I don't really need a new bag...but still, it was gorgeous. x)
Otherwise I've been kinda lazy, I can't be bothered to groom myself and so I don't have a lot to update this blog about. I keep getting sick, which also plays a part in my weariness. The sinusitis I suffered weeks ago has left my mucosa all swollen, which gives me huge dark circles under the eyes.
I'm waiting for the makeup I ordered online to arrive...pretty excited. :D

New dress and more

Lumimyrskyä uhmaten kävin taas tänään kiertelemässä keskustan kauppoja, seuranani siskopuoli (taimikälie). Löysin H&M:ltä ihanan kokopitkän mekon (kuva yllä), väriltään vaalean koralli. Olen viime aikoina muutenkin tykännyt pitkistä mekoista ja hameista, tämä mekko näyttää myös ihanan satumaiselta läpinäkyvän päällyskankaan ansiosta. Käytin loppuun lähes kaikki joululahjaksi saamani lahjakortit. Ostin myös uuden huulipunan koska se oli alennuksessa, omistan kaksi muuta sävyä samaa huulipunaa ja mielestäni ne ovat laadukkaita. Oli mukava mutta pitkä päivä, ja kotiin päästyäni illalla olin aivan väsynyt.

Regardless of the snowstorm outside, I went shopping again today with my stepsister. I found a beautiful dress at H&M, its light coral and reaches all the way to my ankles (the picture above). Lately I've been into long dresses and skirts and I also love how fairytale-esque this new one looks thanks to the sheer top layer. I used up nearly all of the gift tokens I got for Christmas. I also bought a lipstick because it was on sale, I have two other shades of the same and I think their quality is good. It was a nice day, though a long one, and when I got home I was beat.

Kävin tänään kahvilla miehekkeeni ja parin kaverin kanssa. Soiteltiin siinä sitten Wilmandra-senpain kanssa ja hän tuli myöhemmin keskustaan tekemisen puutteessa. Hengailimme kahvilassa ja höpisimme, söimme ja otimme kuvia. En ollut ehtinyt enkä jaksanut panostaa ulkonäkööni yhtään, kun aamulla lähdin liikkeelle, ja se näkyy. Lisäksi oli niin kauhean kylmä (-20°C) että vaatteiden lämmittävyys meni ulkonäön edelle.

Muuten, ihan näin yleisesti... Olen aivan kyllästynyt mustaan ja harmaaseen! Haluan käyttää värikkäitä ja vaaleita vaatteita. Ikävä kyllä suurin osa vaatteistani, etenkin niistä talvikelpoisista, kuuluu juuri tähän tylsien ja tummien kategoriaan. Ja täällä blogissa kuvissa minulla aina vielä sattuu olemaan päällä epätavallisen synkeitä asuja. Kyllä minä värikkäitäkin vaatteita käytän... yritän tästä lähtien piristää vaatetustani vähän.


Today I went out for a coffee with my man and some friends. Later on after some phone calls Wilmandra-senpai came to the centrum because she was bored. So the two of us hung around in a coffee house, ate, talked and took pictures. I don't look that great in them, though, since I had no time or energy to consider my looks when I started my day. To top that off, it was freezing outside (-20°C) so the warmth of the clothes was more important than their stylishness.

Btw, just a general rant... I'm so tired of the colours black and grey! I'd like to wear colorful and light clothes. Sadly most of my wardrobe, especially the winter clothes, are dark and boring. I've noticed that all the pictures I've posted here on my blog happen to have unusually dark outfits. I do wear colours too... I'll try to brighten up my style in the future.

Coca-Cola Junkie

Oli gyaru-inspiroitunut päivä Wilmandra-senpain kanssa. Kierreltiin kauppoja keskustassa, otettiin kuvia, meikattiin ja ennen kaikkea juotiin kolaa. *naurua* Ostin Lindexistä sellaisen pitkän vyön, jonka saa kiedottua kahdesti ympärilleen (siitäkin kuva ihan alhaalla). Se oli puoleen hintaan! Mulla ainakin oli hauskaa, vaikka välillä jumittikin, ja saatiin paljon hyviä kuvia. 

I had a gyaru-inspired fashion day with Wilmandra-senpai. We went shopping, took pictures, put on some make-up, and most importantly, drank coke. *laughs* I bought a long belt that reaches around me twice from Lindex (there'll be a pic of that at the bottom). It was 50% off! I, at least, had fun, even though my mind was kind of lagging at times. We got a lot of good pictures.
